Description
Give your teen the confidence to handle any social situation with ease—while earning credit in Life Skills through practical, real-world etiquette lessons. This 23-unit curriculum teaches everything from introductions and polite conversation to dating etiquette, formal dining, and professional communication. Teens build confidence, communication skills, and emotional intelligence in a modern, screen-savvy world.

Structured for independent learning, the course includes a workbook, editable task cards, a full teacher’s guide, and weekly check-ins that make implementation simple—even for busy parents. Families of faith will appreciate the included Christian article on mindfulness, and our Teacher’s Guide offers guidance and discussion prompts for sections of the required book that may not align with every family’s values.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I check out?
On the download page you will be given access to a PDF. Once you open it, there is an invitation link to create an account on our online portal. You will use the portal to access the material in the plans from your browser or by downloading our app. It is easily accessed by desktop or mobile device. We will also mail a copy of the invitation PDF to your email as well.

What else do I need to buy?
You will need a copy of The Modern Teen’s Etiquette Playbook: Confidence, Communication, and Online Presence for the 21st Century. It’s used throughout the course for reading and reflection.

Does this include Christian content?
The core curriculum focuses on universal etiquette principles, but we do include an optional Christian article on stress and mindfulness. Parents can choose to use it as a supplement.

Are there any parts of the course that might not align with our values?
Possibly. The required book includes mentions of non-binary etiquette, white lies, dating, and mindfulness. Our Teacher’s Guide flags these areas and offers discussion questions and alternative perspectives to help you navigate them with your teen.

What age is this for?
This course is best for ages 15 and up. It covers mature topics like dating and breakups, preparing teens for high school, college, and beyond.

Can this be used for high school credit?
Yes. Most families award a half credit in Life Skills. You can combine it with our Teens on Track: Life Skills course for a full credit.

How much parent involvement is needed?
Minimal. Teens work independently, and parents check in once a week using our teacher’s guide to review key takeaways and progress.
